App status and ownership

App rows show the connection state and the next action for your workspace. Open an app and expand Integration evidence to see its Alpha, Beta or Certified testing stage. Evidence, connection health and tool access are separate facts.

Connection states

Stackyapper automatically reviews supported new and updated tools across apps. You do not need to approve tool updates one by one. Connection setup, your existing permissions and confirmations for tool calls still apply.

Forge also checks your connection when you authorize or reauthorize it. A successful check shows Connected when you return to Apps.

The Tools column shows the current tool count and a new count when tools have been added since you last read the change list. Select Tools to view updates. This is an informational notice; it does not require another review or change your permissions. Skills shows the number of visible app skills, including zero when none are listed. If the complete skill list cannot be loaded, the count shows Not available. See See tool updates for how the starting inventory and read state work.

Availability states

Owners and admins also see availability states in place of the connection chip for apps that are not enabled in the workspace:

Approval required	Stackyapper must approve the app for this workspace first	Select Request access
Access requested	Your request is waiting for Stackyapper review	Wait for approval, then enable the app

These are availability states, not connection states: an app cannot be enabled or connected until it is available to the workspace.

Organization and personal connections

An Organization connection uses credentials managed for the workspace; owners and admins normally configure it. Use a service identity only when the provider supports it and the account is governed by your company.

A Personal connection requires each user to authorize their own provider account. One user’s authorization is not reused for another user.

Integration evidence

The Integration evidence disclosure in app details retains the integration’s testing stage:

Certified means Stackyapper has recorded live provider evidence for the tested operations. It does not establish coverage for every tool or account.
Beta means the app is available for evaluation while its provider coverage is being verified; begin with a small set of read-only tools.
Alpha means the integration is early and may change significantly; treat it as experimental.

The badge is separate from rollout: a Certified app can still sit behind an approval gate. Coverage can change, so check the current evidence in app details.
