App status and ownership
Stackyapper shows one primary connection state on each app. Additional access
and rollout details explain who can act and how broadly the app is available.
Connection states
| State | Meaning | Next action |
| Verified | The saved connection passed its verification check | Grant the required tools and test a read |
| Configured | Credentials are saved, but the provider has not produced a complete verification signal | Run a safe read and review Audit |
| Needs attention | A previously configured connection cannot currently be used reliably | Open the app and repair or reauthorize it |
| Ready to configure | A workspace administrator can provide the required shared setup | Open the app and complete the fields |
| Admin setup required | Your role cannot configure the shared connection | Ask a workspace owner or administrator |
| Not connected | A personal connection has not been authorized | Connect your own account |
| Waiting for approval | The app must be approved before it can be enabled | Wait for the owner or contact the workspace owner |
| Platform setup required | Stackyapper cannot complete the provider-level setup yet | Contact Stackyapper support; changing user credentials will not fix it |
Shared and personal ownership
Shared apps use credentials managed for the workspace. Owners and
administrators normally configure them.
Personal apps require each user to authorize their own provider account.
One user's authorization is not reused for another user.
Keep ownership intentional. Use an organizational service identity only when
the provider supports it and the account is governed by your company.
Rollout labels
Rollout labels describe the maturity of the Stackyapper integration, not the
security of your provider account:
- Supported means the app has current implementation and verification coverage.
- Beta means the app is usable but should be introduced with a narrower tool set and closer verification.
- Planned means it is visible for product direction but is not executable.
Always confirm the current label in the portal because app coverage can change.
