August 28

New — Fastmail is here

Fastmail is now available in Beta. Connect a JMAP API token to search email, review messages and threads, and work with mailboxes, contacts, masked addresses, and vacation responses. Fastmail calendar access is not included.

Fixed — App reviews stay consistent

Unreviewed tool changes now stay unavailable. We also stop an App release when its approved tools do not match the published App data.

New — Volume pricing for managed customer workspaces

Managed customer workspaces now use automatic monthly volume pricing: $149 each for 1–4, $139.80 each for 5–19, $134 each for 20–49, and $132 each for 50 or more.

Each active customer workspace includes unlimited customer users, managed SAML and SCIM, automated identity lifecycle, and a custom access domain.

Improved — Clear support and billing terms

Our pricing, billing, support, and legal pages now consistently describe email support at support@stackyapper.dev, with a target initial response within two business days.

New — Railway (Beta)

Railway is now available in Beta. Connect Railway and use supported AI clients to look up projects and project details.

Cloudflare's Beta App can now connect through Cloudflare sign-in. Use supported AI clients to look up account information.

Improved — Finding the right tool

AI clients can now match everyday requests to the right approved tool more reliably, particularly in Apps with many similar actions.

Improved — DefensX user lookups

Retrieve a limited view of authorized DefensX users and partner administrators. Login names, email addresses, and unrelated provider data remain hidden.

Fixed — More reliable Codex connections

We improved connection renewal for Codex, reducing unnecessary reconnection prompts when access expires.

Improved — Clear connection choice for Apps

Apps with one configured connection now use it automatically. When an app has more than one connection, your AI client must choose the intended connection instead of silently using a default. The Apps page identifies these apps and explains the behavior, and the connection dialog no longer asks you to set a misleading default.

Alpha — One artifact runtime across supported clients

The limited, allowlisted Business artifact beta now renders validated React components through the same trusted visual surface in the standalone page and compatible MCP Apps clients. Components can use a curated set of UI packages; all connected-app tool calls still use declared bindings and recheck the current viewer's access and confirmation policy. Unsupported HTML and older unvalidated source remain inert backups.

If Business becomes inactive, owners retain a private catalog for opening, exporting, and deleting their existing artifacts. Editing, sharing, importing, running controls, and AI client discovery remain unavailable until Business is active again.

Improved — 18 more apps are available

The Stackyapper app catalog now marks AutoElevate, Blumira, Breach Secure Now, Brevo, Cisco Meraki, Cloudflare, CloudRadial, Datto Backup, DefensX, FormNode, Huntress, n8n, Petra Security, ScalePad, Sherweb, Sophos, TimeZest, and Zorus as available.

Seventeen of these apps earned a Certified evidence badge through recorded live checks. Zorus was already Certified and is now available. Workspace access settings still determine which apps each team can use.

Alpha — Artifacts stay current across AI clients

In the limited, allowlisted artifact beta, authorized AI clients can now find the same saved artifact, read its current revision, and submit an update without silently overwriting a newer edit. Claude and ChatGPT have been exercised; Copilot, Hatz, and other AI clients remain protocol-compatible but are not yet live-certified. An open artifact page reloads the latest accepted revision when you return to it.

Improved — Operational artifact layouts

Artifacts can now preserve dense dispatch boards, alert queues, and task lists with age bars, local search and filters, attention chips, sortable compact rows, and governed query controls. Fresh query results are displayed without silently rewriting the saved snapshot. The same trusted declarative page renders in the portal and compatible AI clients. Curated component artifacts use the separate network-isolated runtime; unsupported HTML remains inert.

Improved — Portable artifact pages and backups

We improved the limited artifact preview with hosted pages for compatible AI clients, authenticated fallback links, portable backup import and export, and clearer library search and filtering. Artifact links on a workspace's custom domain now reuse an existing signed-in session instead of asking the same person to sign in again.

Fixed — Reconnecting one AI client no longer affects the others

We made it possible to fix an expired connection or rotate access for one AI client without interrupting the others.

If one client needs attention, reconnect that client and leave the others in place. See AI client lifecycle and API keys.

Fixed — Usage summaries and billing show the right status

We fixed cases where a large usage summary stopped without explaining why or a canceled subscription still looked current. The portal now handles larger workspaces and gives administrators a clearer explanation when a summary needs to be retried.

Improved — Private app setup and connection verification

We added clearer app ownership, connection setup, and better status for apps waiting on approval or verification. We also added more evidence to app status so an app's label reflects what we actually know about its connection.

New — AI clients can now run approved write tools

We added support for selected write tools such as creating, updating, or sending information through connected apps. Access permissions and confirmation are checked before each tool runs.

Administrators can review the model in Security and confirmations.

New — Microsoft Copilot Studio setup

We published a Copilot Studio guide that walks admins through sign-in, connection setup, and a quick check that it works. We also improved tool discovery so Copilot Studio can find the right tools more reliably.

New — A limited preview of workspace artifacts

We began a limited preview of a workspace area for artifacts that teams want to save, share, revise, and revisit. The preview includes sharing controls, revision history, retention settings, quotas, and access requests for selected teams.

We added the Entrata app for property, unit, availability, maintenance, lease, and resident-directory visibility through each user's Entrata API access.

We added the first pieces of private-app review, customer workspace access, and administrator controls for imported apps. Teams can keep an app in review while its connection and available tools are checked.

We added a UniFi Site Manager app for teams managing network infrastructure through UniFi.

Alpha — Customer app import

We added an Alpha preview for importing private customer apps. The feature is available only to workspaces with the Alpha flag enabled. Workspace administrators can review an imported app, check its access, and decide whether it is ready for use.

Improved — Apps are easier to find and configure

We renamed the portal's connector area to Apps, added a faster catalog, and made shared app setup easier for administrators. Access requests now provide clearer feedback, and admins can configure shared connections from the same place.

Improved — Reauthorization and connection status

We added a reauthorization action for app connections and standardized the setup flow across providers. After you save credentials, the portal distinguishes a saved connection from one that has actually been verified.
